Our Story: Creating Moments, Pouring Peace

First and foremost, I have always found a profound sense of peace in creating things with my hands.

The journey of this business began not in a boardroom, but during a cherished "girls' day out" with a dear friend. We had a tradition of taking turns choosing our adventures, and on this particular day, she surprised me with a candle-making class. To say I loved it would be an understatement. From the careful selection of the jar to the art of blending fragrances and finally naming my very first custom candle, I was completely captivated.

That experience sparked a revelation. I told myself, “I refuse to buy another store-bought candle now that I know how to pour my own.” My initial goal was simply to give my friends and family access to high-quality, beautifully crafted scents. But as I gathered my supplies and perfected my craft, a bigger vision began to unfold—why not share this warmth and comfort with the world?

Another profound motivation for my business came from a place of care. A close friend of mine absolutely loved candles but suffered from a soy allergy. After doing some research, I realized just how many other people share this same struggle. It became my mission to formulate soy-free alternatives so that everyone could safely enjoy my creations, expanding my craft to include inclusive candles, wax melts, and car air fresheners.

As my vision grew, I knew I needed a business name that wouldn't limit me to just candles, as I had so many other handmade goods I wanted to create. I prayed for guidance, and the name came to me as clear as day: Scents & More. What started as a heartfelt idea in 2022 officially blossomed into a licensed LLC by 2025.

Shortly after, in February 2026, our signature brand ScentimentalCreationz was born. The name holds a very special meaning to me: each handmade product is designed to take your mental to a sentimental moment, or simply to cultivate a pure atmosphere of zen in your sanctuary.
